πŸ“€ Send

The /send command is a core feature of the XRP Maxi Telegram bot, allowing you to transfer XRP or supported tokens quickly and easily to other users. Whether you’re in a private chat or a group, the command is designed for simplicity, flexibility, and robust functionality.

Features

  • Versatile Recipient Selection:
    • Reply Mode: In group chats, simply reply to a user’s message with /send amount TOKEN to send funds directly to that user. For clarity on usage in group chats, please refer to Setup & Usage in the Project Groups section.
    • Direct Mention: You can also use the format /send @username amount TOKEN to specify the recipient.
  • Support for Multiple Assets:
Send native XRP or any supported token (IOU) seamlessly.
    • If a token is not specified, XRP is sent by default. In a group chat, the groups default token is used.
    • For tokens, the bot uses preconfigured settings or looks up the issuer automatically if not provided.
  • Shorthand Notation for Amounts:
Specify amounts in a compact form using abbreviations:
    • k for thousand (e.g., 100k equals 100,000)
    • m for million (e.g., 1m equals 1,000,000)
    • b for billion (e.g., 1b equals 1,000,000,000)
    • t for trillion (e.g., 1t equals 1,000,000,000,000)
    • q for quadrillion (e.g., 1q equals 1,000,000,000,000,000)
  • Real-Time Feedback:
Once a transaction is processed, you receive an immediate response with a confirmation message and a link to view the transaction on an XRPL explorer.
  • Security & Validation:
    • Only registered users with properly set-up wallets can use the /send command.
    • Group commands are protected – only group members (and in some cases, only administrators) can trigger specific actions.

How to Use

In a Private Chat

  • Sending XRP:

    /send @bob 10

    Sends 10 XRP to Bob.

  • Sending a Token Using Defaults:

    /send @alice 10 RLUSD

Sends 10 units of RLUSD. The bot will automatically use the default issuer for RLUSD if you don't provide one.

  • Sending a Token with Explicit Issuer:

/send @alice 10 RLUSD.rMxCKbEDwqr76QuheSUMdEGf4B9xJ8m5De

or

/send @alice 10 RLUSD:rMxCKbEDwqr76QuheSUMdEGf4B9xJ8m5De

Sends 10 units of RLUSD to Alice using the specified issuer.

In a Group Chat

  • Reply Mode:
Reply to a user’s message with:

    /send 10

The bot will send 10 XRP to the user you replied to. If the groups default token is set, will send the groups token instead.

  • Direct Mention:

    /send @bob 10 RLUSD

Sends 10 units of RLUSD to Bob in the group.

Advantages

  • Simplicity:
The /send command is designed to be intuitive, allowing you to quickly send funds with minimal input.
  • Compact Notation:
With shorthand amount notation, you can easily represent large values without lengthy numbers.
  • Flexibility:
Whether you're sending XRP or tokens, replying to messages or using direct mentions, the bot adapts to your preferred workflow.
  • Instant Feedback:
Get immediate confirmation and transaction details so you know your funds are on their way.
  • Enhanced Security:
All transfers are validated, ensuring that only properly set-up users can execute transactions, and that recipient addresses are accurate.

Additional Tips

  • Check Trustlines:
Before sending tokens (IOUs), make sure the recipient has added the appropriate trustline. If not, the transaction might fail.
  • Use Precise Values:
If you’re using shorthand notation, be aware that the bot may round up values, it's best to use the shorthand for round figures.
  • Stay Updated:
New features are continuously added. Use /help for a full list of commands and latest updates.

By using the /send command, you enjoy a fast, secure, and flexible way to transfer XRP and tokens directly within Telegram. Whether you're in a private chat or managing group transactions, our bot is designed to streamline your workflow and enhance your XRPL experience. Enjoy!
